Company health insurance funds with a fresh look and a new service landscape.. 

Our project for BKK Dachverband e. V. encompassed the launch of the new BKK magazine, the relaunch of the web portal and the development of the intranet with links to various cloud applications. We revised the entire corporate design of the BKK Dachverband step by step in the course of various sub-projects.

Our customer

BKK Dachverband represents 83 corporate health insurance funds (about 10 million insured persons) and more than 70 percent of the statutory health insurance companies in Germany.

Corporate website relaunch


On the basis of TYPO3, we designed the corporate website to form the core for digital communication for the association.


The events section now includes various types of events as well as an option for registering online.


Visitors can view the latest job vacancies in a customised job exchange.


Via the comprehensive newsletter system, news and information on events can be distributed to various mailing lists. This process is partly automated to reduce the workload.


Intelligent full text searches were included via a SOLR search engine, guiding visitors to relevant content with a filter function and search suggestions.

Fresh corporate design

The corporate design of the BKK Dachverband was also developed further in the course of the sub-projects. For this purpose, we prepared suitable style guides and a uniform logo vocabulary for publications, events and projects, indicating the relationship to the BKK Dachverband – with simultaneous recognition value for the individual sub-projects

Thanks to our full-service package, we were able to use an integrated approach in completing the various sub-projects, thus reducing costs and effort for the customer's project management.

BKK magazine concept and print design


The BKK magazine is the flagship for corporate communication. Published every two months, the magazine features articles and interviews on political, legal and health-related issues in companies.


We were responsible for drafting and developing a suitable print design.


We compile the magazine every two months in close cooperation with the BKK editorial staff, and also oversee the print run.


In addition to the magazine, we were responsible for the conceptual design and implementation of numerous flyers and brochures for corporate communication.

Conceptual design and launch of the intranet


The new intranet is a key component for the services of the company health insurance funds. This online application enables company health insurance funds within Germany to collaborate.


A central login provides users with access to a varied application landscape.


Users from the various company health insurance funds can discuss project topics in digital forums, thereby sharing knowledge and experience.


A comprehensive newsletter service makes it possible to send current information and event notices to various distribution lists. This process is partly automated to reduce the workload.


The platform offers group functions, chats and forums for digital communication. Travel expenses are thus permanently reduced, and time-consuming teleconferences can be avoided.
